Three 1992 entries from a somewhat forgotten Fantagraphics anthology from the early 90s. Great covers by Chris Ware (in his early-middle style, almost Geof Darrow-esque or something here), Julie Doucet, and Kim Deitch. Softcover comics-trade size issues with a lot of full-color. Interior stories by those folks from the cover as well as Doug Allen, Jacques Tardi, Bill Griffith, and several more. Flip through and see what arty comic people were up to 30ish years ago, then wonder if our atomized 2020s comics milieu could ever be so plainly expressed.
