Frank Stella Catalogs

I was going to say these late-career Frank Stella catalogs are absurdly well-printed, but they're actually produced for two different series of fine art prints, so it really just comes with the territory. The series are Imaginary Places and Moby Dick Deckled Edges. These are both a little bigger than letter-size and have a bunch of fancy foldouts, as well as detailing every single layer and color of ink used in the prints - almost like a recipe breakdown for each individual one.

The fluorescent spot colors are magnificent here. Hard to photograph. Late Stella is just so nutty, I know it's not everyone's favorite but I love the freedom and vibrational intensity.

$50 for both. Imaginary Places in particular goes for more than that sometimes.
