David Berman's poetry collection, originally published in 1999. This is a later printing, but as you'll see from the photos was my cherished copy from high school. My name is written in the inside front page and it seems like I tested a pen on another one. The book is scarce enough I'm guessing someone will want it anyways!

Two of my artistic heroes from my teenage years were William Eggleston and David Berman. Somehow encountering them both at the same time linked them for me for life. Berman's vivid recalibrations of colloquialisms, to me, are somehow similar to Bill E.'s shrugging, revelatory moments—and of course both so 'American.'

Condition: Acceptable—more-than-minor shelf wear and creasing on the spine, and a couple of silly markings in the interior.
